The consolidated list of organizations that are sources of acquisition for the Republican State Institution “National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan” of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – the Consolidated List) was compiled as of February 3, 2023. A total of 246 organizations were included in the list, including: 154 state institutions, 96 non-state institutions, and 34 potential sources of acquisition.
The Consolidated List was compiled on the basis of the “Methodological Recommendations for the Identification and Compilation of Lists of Organizations that are Sources and Potential Sources of Acquisition for the State Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” approved by the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan on April 6, 2016, as well as the “Standard Lists of Types of Organizations that are Sources and Potential Sources of Acquisition for State Archives,” and the “Scheme for Compiling Lists of Organizations that are Sources and Potential Sources of Acquisition for the State Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
Work to clarify the list of acquisition sources of the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carried out on a permanent basis, through direct interaction with organizations, during site visits, as well as in the process of developing file classification systems and organizing documents.
The list consists of two parts:
- List of institutions, organizations, and enterprises that are sources of acquisition for the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- List of institutions, organizations, and enterprises that are potential sources of acquisition for the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Consolidated List includes types of institutions, organizations, and enterprises from 19 sectors of state, economic, and public activity of the republic. Within major sectors, sub-sectors and specific areas of activity are distinguished.
Organizations included in the list with state ownership are divided into state institutions (RSI, SI) and state enterprises (RSE, RSE on the right of economic management, etc.). Non-state organizations include JSC, NJSC, LLP, and private institutions.
In accordance with the main criteria for identifying acquisition sources, the Consolidated List includes 256 institutions, organizations, and enterprises across the following sections:
- State governance (including judiciary, justice, prosecutor’s office) Nos. 1–75 – 75 record creators;
- Planning, statistics, labor, and social protection of the population Nos. 76–80 – 5 record creators;
- Industry Nos. 81–115 – 35 record creators;
- Agriculture, water, forestry, land resources Nos. 116–134 – 19 record creators;
- Environmental protection and monitoring Nos. 135–136 – 2 record creators;
- Transport and communications Nos. 137–145 – 9 record creators;
- Construction and architecture Nos. 146–149 – 4 record creators;
- Geology and subsoil exploration Nos. 150–151 – 2 record creators;
- Trade and public catering No. 152 – 1 record creator;
- Supply, procurement, and distribution Nos. 153–154 – 2 record creators;
- Financing, lending, SME development, insurance Nos. 155–169 – 15 record creators;
- Housing and коммунal services No. 170 – 1 record creator;
- State revenues, taxation, state property No. 171 – 1 record creator;
- Healthcare, physical culture, and sports Nos. 172–198 – 27 record creators;
- Education Nos. 199–226 – 28 record creators;
- Information services Nos. 227–237 – 11 record creators;
- Science and scientific support Nos. 238–243 – 6 record creators;
- Culture and arts Nos. 244–255 – 12 record creators;
- Public associations No. 256 – 1 record creator.
Work to clarify the list of acquisition sources is carried out on an ongoing basis at the Republican State Institution “National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
